Crimebeat Graffiti Project

Young people with an interest in graffiti art applied to Crimebeat for funding for paint and a graffiti facilitator to assist them in the painting of a large art piece on the wall of the centre where they meet every week. The young people also painted a youth shelter outside the centre which had been vandalised.
There has been lots of positive feedback from the local community and other youth workers, and the group have been approached to paint another youth centre in the area.
This same group were involved in painting the hoarding outside the forner railway musueum in Swindon and as such have received a number of requests from businesses to paint pieces for them.
